missa inte att vara med och bidra i årets peace one day den 21 september - one day one goal!

i år har vi juniorer i cisv valt ett speciellt tema för att fira peace one day. nämligen- one day one goal!
varför? jo för att det är roligt samtidigt som du gör en konkret positiv handling för en bättre värd och allt du behöver är dig själv, en kompis - eller främling - och en fotboll!

vi hoppas att så många utav er, på så många platser som möjligt, är peppade att delta och bidra i detta event!
och så fort ni känner minsta lilla pepp - maila juniorbranch@se.cisv.org - så kan vi hjälpa, stötta och förmedla hur coola just vi juniorer är till många fler!

Dear JB WORLD!
Are you aware of which event will take place 21 days from now? If yes, congratulations, if not, don't you worry this is the purpose of this message!

21 days from today, meaning September 21st 2010 we'll be celebrating the International Day of Peace. As you know for the past years CISV has promoted Peace One Day and this year our commitment is even bigger!

Jeremy Gilley, the founder of the Peace One Day Organization personally addressed CISV International to both thank for our support to their initiative and to encourage CISVers around the world to join in this year's POD event called One day One Goal!

So what's the deal with One Day One Goal?

The deal, if you wish to accept it, will be to organize soccer/football matches in your local JBs to spread the message of Peace Day. The great thing about this is that ANYONE can participate, JBers, parents, your neighbors, your classmates, you name it! All you need is a ball, energy and a camera...

Ideally this event will take place on September 21st (the actual day of Peace) however, if you find another day throughout September it is also possible, the intention is what counts!

Why do I need a camera?

Remember we mentioned that POD and CISV have had some talks? Well they came up with another amazing proposal. If we take pictures and videos of the matches played on the 21st of September, and we send them over to them, they offered to put together a video about One Day One Goal and CISV! How cool would that be?

So you have TWO tasks:

one: Get ready to play soccer/football on September 21st, and spread the word of Peace Day and 'One Day One Goal'
two: take pictures, record the events, document EVERYTHING! and send over the footage so you can be included in the amazing video POD will put together for us.
